20140123-184508.jpgI really enjoyed Shadow’s Danger! There were parts that brought me back to reading two of my favorite series (The Mortal Instruments and The Lux Series). I was really missing a good paranormal read and this was perfect.

This is the story of Deliah, a shy high schooler who lost her parents at a young age, and more recently, her grandmother. Deliah’s life starts going haywire when the new family arrives in town, the Wates. Leighton, Garreth, and Travis instantly shake things up for her and she’s curious to why.

This book was such a mystery! I was constantly guessing and coming up with my own theories (none of which were correct haha). You can’t help but to be intrigued.

I loved all the twists and turns. Throughout the entire book, there was always MORE! Something new. Something that made the story that much better.

I would definitely recommend this to all the paranormal lovers. I’m still not sure if it’s a standalone or if there will be more but if there will be, I’ll be reading 🙂

Well, well, well, what a nice surprise this was. If you’re a fan of Jennifer Armentrout’s Lux series, you’ll enjoy this book.

This is the story of Deliah and how her whole life was changed in a matter of months. Her grandmother recently died, her sister hates her and the nightmares that came around the same time of her grandmother’s death are giving her horrible headaches. Everything gets worse when the Wates come to town, Garreth, Leighton and Travis. Garreth being hot one second and cold the next, and Travis… he’s just down right mean. Leighton, on the other hand was sweet and friendly from the start. Oh, and let’s not forget about the horrible visions Deliah gets every time she crosses gazes with Garreth. Yes, these people are weird, they have deep secrets and all of them seem to lead to Deliah.

This book was really, really good. I was hooked from the start. You won’t get to understand everything right away… But you start forming ideas of what’s happening and what are these secrets and monsters really about. I really liked the characters, they were all very, very well presented. Deliah is a shy girl, she doesn’t like attention, mainly because she’s gotten a lot of bad attention thanks to her scandalous sister. But she’s a strong character. She won’t stand anyone treating her badly or anything. Then we have Garreth… Oh I liked him! He first starts being this mean guy.. but as Deliah starts to get to know him… She starts seeing another side of him, a nicer side. A side she starts to like. He has some sweet gestures and he’ll do anything to protect those he loves. Leighton.. She’s a nice strong girl too. She’s the one who knows how to calm the people around her and get everything done right. Travis, well he’s full of surprises, I’ll tell you that.

This is a really good story, and like my BBS said, it also reminded me of The Mortal Instruments series, but it was more like the Lux series to me. I loved Garreth and Deliah’s relationship. He’ll do anything to protect her and so will she. He’s sweet to her and you know he loves her. I really hope there’s going to be a second book. There’s no way this story is ending like this.
