I liked the story..not as much as I liked The Mortal Instruments though.

About the characters, hmm at some point I thought ‘ok, Jace and Will have the same sarcastic, mean and mocking attitude, being both a Herondale and all’ but let’s face it, Will was a complete jerk. The guy was plain mean with everyone except Jem, there were a few moments (emphasis on ‘a few’) where he acted like a normal human being, but then, he went back being the same ass. He may have his reasons to act the way he does, but it’s one thing to act tough and sarcastic, as if nothing can hurt you, and a completely different thing to go around insulting and disrespecting Tessa because he feels like it or whatever. I like Jace better, no doubt about that, because even when he was being mean, you could see, behind all that, that he actually cared.

I thought the romantic part of the story was non-existent, so I’m hoping the next book gets better in that department. Maybe it’ll start with Tessa punching Will straight in the face.

But anyway, the story is perfectly written, I mean, Cassandra Clare knows how to write her stories!! They’re amazing, full of details and history. I love her books!!
