Book review: Fifty Shades of Gray (Fifty Shades #1) E.L. James

Title: Fifty Shades of Gray (Fifty Shades #1)
Author: E.L. James
Soreonne’s rating: 5 stars

Soreonne’s review:

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

HOLY SHIT CHRISTIAN GREY!!! I could seriously SPANK myself for waiting this long to read this book. Glorious barely describes it. I need a few seconds to give my 2 cents on Mr. Grey so let me talk about Ana.

I loathe the wussy, blushy, boring heroines…But Ana is wonderful to real about. I mean I totally get it….Christian is intense and a half. Those emails good Lord! She is hilarious. Be my friend Ana? I promise not so be as bitchy as Kate.

Now on to the reason I’m salivating…Mr. Grey. I know I’m not in the minority when I say this man was made for me. He loves books and classical music and plays the got damned piano! He’s incredibly intelligent and rich. All together now…Perrrrrfect! Lets not even talk about sex that would make you combust just thinking about it. Ok let’s lol he is the only man that has ever, in the history of the world, made gagged and bound sound oh so right! Sir

The story was great. There were ups. There were downs. There were orgasmic, mind blowing moments. Book two here I come(pun intended). I need to know about the touching, the crack whore mother, and Mrs. Robinson…yes definitely her. And most of all I need Ana and Christian TOGETHER!!
