Book review: Gabriel’s Rapture (Gabriel’s Inferno #2) by Sylvain Reynard

Title: Gabriel’s Rapture (Gabriel’s Inferno #2)
Author: Sylvain Reynard
Soreonne’s rating: 5 stars

Soreonne’s review:

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student, Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex. But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante’s fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever? In Gabriel’s Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel’s Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader’s mind, body, and soul, forever.

Another five star read. I am so smitten with Gabriel and Julia’s romance.

Now this book definitely put a huge ache in my heart. With Professor and Julia apart, I feel like it was me who was abandoned. However, I ALWAYS kept faith in Gabriel. And when I read the true story of what happened, I shed true tears. To have a man, a partner, a loooover, who would risk it all, truly go to hell for you, oh my Julia you lucky lucky biatch.

The ending was beautiful and sexy. Gabriel has truly made me want to learn Italian or at least find an Italian lover. I can’t wait to read book 3!
